I was raised on a small farm in Michigan. Farm life often teaches a great work ethic: early to bed - early to rise makes a man healthy - wealthy and wise. I'm not quite sure if I have accomplished all of that, but I guess I'll just keep working at it. My mother used to tell me, I should go into real estate. She thought I would be good at it. I guess mother was right because I have been helping people accomplish their real estate goals since 1998. I have heard it said if you do something you love, you will never work a day in your life. I have found this to be true. There are so many things I love about my profession. It's much more than just helping people accomplish their housing goals, by either purchasing a house or selling their current one. Our homes are a reflection of who we are! They are often our safe haven; a place of refuge from the outside world and stresses of life. It's the place where we spend our leisure time enjoying family, friends, reading our favorite books, working in our garden and enjoying our hobbies. Home is where the heart is! Life has many seasons. I enjoy helping people no matter what season of life they are in. Whether it's a first-time home buyer, someone moving to a larger home, downsizing, moving to Florida to start enjoying retirement or moving closer to the family. It's been a privilege and honor to help hundreds of people on their journey through life and finding a place they can call HOME. One of the greatest gifts that I receive is when we get to the closing and a buyer or seller gives me a hug; thanking me for doing what I love; making a new friend for life. Finding balance is one of life greatest challenges. Yet this challenge is one that must be met in order to find peace. When I am not helping people accomplish their real estate goals, I love a myriad of activities: spending time with my family & friends, exercising to Zumba, aerobic exercise, bicycle riding, and kayaking. I also enjoy reading, long walks in the woods or on the beach, watching a beautiful sunset or sunrise, bird watching, gardening (vegetables and flowers), vacationing in the Smokey Mountains and whitewater rafting.
